    Classic Baked Pasta Casserole

    List of Ingredients





    16 oz pkg mostaccoili or rotini, cooked
    1 lb Italian sausage or hamburger
    2 jars (26 oz each) olive and mushroom sauce, or tomato and basil sauce *
    4 c (1 lb) shredded mozzarella chesse
    chopped parsley


    Recipe





    Preheat to 350.

    Prepare pasta according to package directions.
    Brown meat in a skillet. Drain.

    In a large bowl, combine pasta, meat, pasta sauce and 2 c cheese. Mix well.

    Turn into a greased 13 x 9 baking dish. Cover.

    Bake 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
    Uncover; top with remaining 2 c cheese and parsley.

    Bake 10 more minutes or until cheese melts.

    12 to 15 servings.

    NOTES:

    I make my own sauce, using 3 1/4 c of homemade sauce.
    I often add sauted onion, celery, garlic and mushrooms to this recipe.
