    This is a great soup.

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 lb boneless beef sirloin steak, cut 1 inch thick
    2 medium potatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces
    2 c frozen cut green beans
    1 small onion, sliced and separated into rings
    16 oz jar thick and chunky salsa
    14 oz can beef broth
    1 tsp dried basil, crushed
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    shredded Monterey Jack or Mexican blend cheese, opt.

    Recipe



    Trim fat from meat.
    Cut into 1 inch pieces and set aside.
    Using a 3 1/2 or 4 quart slow cooker, layer potatos, green beans, and onion.
    Top with meat.
    Combine slasa, beef broth, basil and garlic.
    Pour over mixture.
    Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or high for 4 to 5 hours.
    Sprinkle each serving with cheese if desired.
    6 servings.

    Notes:
    I made the recipe as written and it was wonderful.
