Beans, Rice and Sausage

List of Ingredients
2 tbsp oil
2/3 to 3/4 lb smoked sausage, (kielbasa) cut into 2 inch pieces
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp basil
dash Tabasco
2 cans, 16 oz each, red beans - do not drain
cooked riceRecipe
Heat oil in skillet
Brown sausage; remove from pan
Saute onion and garlic until soft.
Add sausage and all ingredients except rice.
Simmer, covered, over low heat for 30 minutes
During last few minutes of cooking, mash some of the beans.
Serve over cooked rice
4 to 6 servings
