I got it out of the back of a book by
Linda Howard that I just read
(shes one of my favorites!)"Drop Dead Gorgeous"
is the name of the book.

Recipe
Trademarked_Name_1 Doughnut Bread Pudding
2 dozen glazed or crueller doughnuts(torn into chunks,put in big bowl)
3 beaten eggs
1 can sweetened condensed milk,add to beaten eggs,mix.
1 t.vanilla(add to egg and milk mixture)
1/2-1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Add cinnamon and egg,milk,vanilla,mixture to doughnuts.
Add either a can of fruit cocktail(with juice) to mix OR start
adding milk a little at a time until mixture is the texture of lumpy
cake batter.
1 cup of chopped pecans or chopped walnuts(optional)
pour into pan and bake for 30 minutes @ 350 degrees.
take out and cool.
Glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar
3-4 tablespoons milk or water.
Mix together and drizzle over bread pudding.
Buttermilk Glaze:
1/4 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 t.baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
1/4 cup butter
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
combine first 5 ingredients in a saucepan,bring
to a boil,remove from heat.Cool slightly,stir in vanilla.
Pour over pudding.
If you are really lazy:
Buy a can of ready made frosting and spread on top,
vanilla or buttercream.
