    2 c flour
    1 1/4 c sugar
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 c butter, cubed, room temperature
    3/4 c walnuts
    1/2 c rolled oats
    1/3 c brown sugar
    1 1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1 c milk
    1 large egg
    3 c blueberries
    topping:
    1 tbsp sugar
    1 tbsp butter

    Recipe



    Whisk the flour, 1 1/2 c sugar and salt together in a large bowl.
    Cut in the 1/2 c butter and mix until looks like small peas.
    Remove 3/4c to another bowl; to that bowl add walnuts, oats and brown sugar. Mix an set aside for use as topping.

    To the remaining flour mixture, add baking powder, baking soda, milk and egg. Mix well.

    In a greased and floured 9 inch square baking pan, pour the flour mixture.
    Top with blueberries, trying to scatter them evenly.
    Top with 1 tbsp sugar.
    Top with the oatmeal mixture.
    Dot with 1 tbsp butter.
    Bake at 325 for about 1 1/4 hour or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
    Let cool for 20 minutes before cutting.
