Candy Easter Eggs
1 stick margarine, (½ cup)
½ c. milk
2 small pkgs vanilla pudding, NOT instant
Add:
6 oz softened cream cheese
2 c. coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
2 pounds powdered sugar
4 t. vanilla or maple flavoring
Recipe
combine margarine, milk an pudding; cook 2 minutes and cool.
Add remaining ingredients.
Mix together with your hands.
Shape into small eggs and lay on a cookie sheet to freeze for ½ hour.
Dip into melted chocolate.
Makes 50-60 small eggs.
Yvonne's Note: I make eggs about the size of my thumb, but you can make whatever size you like. I have had this recipe for years and it is still my very favorite dipped candy.
