Chocolate and mint combined, life can't get much better than this!

Chocolate Mint Bars for St. Pat's Day
T&T - Just a touch of green makes these a must for St. Patrick's Day.
CHOCOLATE MINT BARS
1/2 cup margarine or butter;
1 cup sugar;
2 eggs;
1 teas. vanilla;
2 squares unsweetened chocolate-melted;
1/2 cup flour;
1/2 cup nuts-optional.

1/2 cup powdered sugar;
2 tables. soft butter;
2 tables. cream or milk;
1/2 teas. peppermint extract-make sure it says peppermint-not any other kind of mint;
1 drop green food coloring.
Recipe
Cream butter and sugar, beat in eggs and vanilla. Blen in chocolate, flour and nuts. Pour into 8x8 greased pan. Bake 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool.

Second set of ingredients:
Combine, beat well, spread over cooled brownie layer.
Then melt 1/2 square unsweetened or semi-sweet chocolate and 1-1/2 teas. butter. Drizzle over frosting. (I use unsweetened)
Refrigerate. Cut in small pieces - very rich.
