Cocoa Apple Cake (C & H)

List of Ingredients





C&H Cocoa Apple Cake


3 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 sticks margarine
1/2 cup water
*

2 1/2 cups flour
2 Tblsp. Cocoa ( like Hershey's)
1 t. Baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice

1 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup chocolate chips
2 cups grated apples
1 T. Vanilla

Mix all.


Recipe





Cream eggs, sugar, butter and water.
Sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda, cinnamon, allspice

After sifting, add to the creamed mixture.

Then fold in walnuts, chocolate chips, apples and vanilla

Mix all.
Put the batter in a Greased and Floured Tube pan.
Bake at 325*F. For 60 minutes.
Serves 12.

Paula's note:
Loaf pans work, too, but I have always baked in a tube pan.
