Supposedly similar to Captain D's batter.


List of Ingredients






1 1/2 cups flour
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 egg
1 cup beer
1/2 cup hot water
1/2 tsp. salt




Recipe



Combine yeast and flour. Mix well.
In a different bowl, beat the egg, hot water and salt together.
Add beer and mix.
Add combined flour mixture.
Dip fish into batter and coat completely.
Fry in hot oil.
