    Servings: 9


    1/2 c butter
    1 c flour
    1 c sugar
    2 tsp baking powder
    2/3 c milk

    fruit: 1 large can fruit, drained or 1 1/2 to 2 c fresh fruit mixed with 1/2 c sugar


    Mix 1 c flour
    1 c sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2/3 c milk

    Pour the mixture over the melted butter.
    Do NOT stir.


    Recipe




    Heat oven to 350. Melt one stick butter in an 8 X8 pan. Use BUTTER, not margarine.

    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and milk

    Pour the mixture over the melted butter.
    Do NOT stir.


    Sprinkle fruit over the top.
    DO NOT STIR


    Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until browned on top.

    Top with vanilla ice cream.
