    HERSHEY SYRUP TWO TONE POUND CAKE

    elinorw's notes: I just made this cake and it is simply delicious and looks lovely when cut into.

    List of Ingredients





    1 c butter
    1 c sugar
    3 eggs
    3 c flour
    2 t baking powder
    1/4 t baking soda
    1/2 t salt
    1 1/2 t vanilla
    1 c milk
    3/4 c Hershey Syrup


    Recipe





    Cream butter and sugar together.
    Add eggs, one at a time and beat well.
    Add vanilla to milk and add alternately with dry ingredients to batter.
    Pour 3/4 of the batter into a well greased and floured bundt pan.
    Add Hershey Syrup to the remaining batter and beat in. Spread over vanilla layer in pan.
    Bake 40 minutes at 350;
    Place a sheet of heavy duty foil over the top of the cake and bake an additional 25 minutes.
    Cool completely and sift powdered sugar over the top.
