    Recipe Introduction

MMM.... hot fudge sauce! Get out the ice cream.
This may be made on the stove top or in the microwave.

    List of Ingredients

6 oz semi-swee chocolate chips OR 4 1-oz squares semi sweet chocolate
    2 tbsp butter
14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
    2 tbsp water
    1 tsp vanilla

    Recipe

Stove - Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan over medium heat.
Stirring constantly, cook until chips are melted and mixture is thickened. About 5 minutes.
Serve warm over ice cream and refrigerate any leftovers.

Microwave - Combine ingredients in a 1 quart dish and heat on full power* for 3 to 3 1/2 minutes. STIR after each minute.

    * This is an old recipe and microwaves are more powerful now. Adjust cooking time and possibly reduce the power so chocolate does not seize.

Reheat - Stovetop - combine desired amount of sauce with a tiny amount of water. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until heated through.
Microwave - Use a microwave safe dish, add a tiny bit of water and heat for 15 second intervals, stirring between each until mixture is heated through.
