Pumpkin Pie Baked French Toast
8 oz. sliced French bread
8 large eggs
1 1/2 cups milk (I used part milk and part cream)
1 cup pumpkin
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2Tbls. sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
8 Tblsp. butter, cubed, Cold
(I forgot the butter and it still was great!)
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and Spray a 9x13 pan with Pam
Put sliced bread into pan. I cut up my own French bread.
Beat eggs with milk in a laarge bowl. Add pumpkin, brown sugar, cinnamon. Whisk to combine, then pour over bread. With a large spoon, press bread into the milk/egg mixture to cover. Sprinkle the 2 T sugar mixed with the 1/2 tsp cinnamon and dot with butter.
Bake 30-40 minutes. Let set for 10 minutes.
