4 c chicken broth
slat, to taste
/4 tsp crushed saffron threads
1 c dried orzo pasta
2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp chopped flat leaf parsleyRecipe
Place chicken broth, salt and saffron in medium size pot; bring to boil.
Stir in orzo, reduce heat to simmer and cook, uncovered, until orzo is just tender, about 9 minutes.
Drain orzo and return to pot.
Add chopped parsley; toss well.
Serve hot.
