List of Ingredients
4 oz. crabmeat or imitation crabmeat, surimi, coarsely chopped
1/4 C. light mayo
3 oz. Swiss Cheese, shredded
2 Tbsp. sliced scallions
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 tsp. paprika
3 pumpernickel or whole grain bagels, split in half
6 tomato slices
Recipe
Heat broiler.
In a med. bowl combine crabmeat, mayo, cheese, green onions, garlic salt and paprika; mix well.
On a large baking sheet place bagel halves.
Broil 5 to 6 inches from heat until toasted (1 to 2 minutes).
Top each half with 1 slice of tomato.
Spread with about 1/4 C. of crabmeat mixture.
Broil 5 to 6 inches from heat until cheese is bubbly (3-4 min).
Serve immediately.
Joan's Notes: I use a 1/2 and 1/2 mixture of canned crab meat and the imitation crab meat.
