    Broccoli Wokly

    List of Ingredients




    1 bunch fresh broccoli
    1 c flour
    1 egg
    ice water
    oil for wok

    Recipe



    Break egg into measuring cup and measure.
    Pour into bowl with flour.
    Add ice water equal to three times the egg measure.
    Stir gently but do not over mix - batter will be lumpy.

    Cut broccoli into bite size pieces and dry thoroughly.

    Fill wok or skillet with about 3 inches of oil.
    Heat oil to 360 degrees.
    To test oil - drop a little batter in oil, the batter should splash at the surface of the oil.

    Dip one piece of broccoli at a time into batter to coat.
    Carefully drop into hot oil in wok.

    Fry 6 to 8 pieces at a time until golden brown.
    Drain on a paper towel.

    4 servings.
