DOUBLE- QUICK DINNER ROLLS

- 1 cup warm water
- 1 package dry yeast
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoon shortening
Instructions
- In large bowl dissolve yeast in water.
- Measure flour by dip-level pour method.
- Stir sugar and 1/2 the flour and salt into yeast. Beat with spoon till smooth.
- Add egg and shortening.
- Beat in rest of flour till smooth.
- Cover bowl and let rise till double ( about 30 minutes)
- Grease 12 large muffin cups.
- Punch down dough.
- spoon into muffin cups filling about 1/2 full.
- Let rise again till doubles in sizeor till dough reaches top of cups. (about 20 to 30 minutes)
- Bake at 400F for 15 to 20 minutes
