    DOUBLE- QUICK DINNER ROLLS

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup warm water
    • 1 package dry yeast
    • 2 tablespoon sugar
    • 2 1/4 cups flour
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 egg
    • 2 tablespoon shortening


    Instructions


    1. In large bowl dissolve yeast in water.
    2. Measure flour by dip-level pour method.
    3. Stir sugar and 1/2 the flour and salt into yeast. Beat with spoon till smooth.
    4. Add egg and shortening.
    5. Beat in rest of flour till smooth.
    6. Cover bowl and let rise till double ( about 30 minutes)
    7. Grease 12 large muffin cups.
    8. Punch down dough.
    9. spoon into muffin cups filling about 1/2 full.
    10. Let rise again till doubles in sizeor till dough reaches top of cups. (about 20 to 30 minutes)
    11. Bake at 400F for 15 to 20 minutes
