    SPLENDA OLD FASHIONED APPLE PIE

    List of Ingredients


    • 9" double pie crust
    • 1 cup Splenda
    • 7 cups baking apples, thin-sliced, cored, peeled (about 7 medium)
    • 3 Tbsp cornstarch
    • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
    • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
    • 1/8 tsp salt


    Instructions


    1. Prepare or purchase a double pie crust and set one crust into a 9-inch pie pan
    2. preheat overn to 425
    3. place sliced apples into a large bowl and set aside
    4. combine splenda, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a small bowl.
    5. sprinkle the mixture over apples and toss
    6. spoon apple mixture into pie crust
    7. place the second crust over the filling
    8. seal edges, trim and flute. Make small openings in the top crust following your preferred pattern.
    9. Bake in preheated 425 oven until the top crust is golden brown (45-50 minutes) serve warm or chilled.
