    IRRESISTIBLE PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 cup peanut butter creamy style
    • 1/2 cup all vegetable shortening
    • 1 1/4 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
    • 3 tablespoons milk
    • 1 tablespoon vanilla
    • 1 egg
    • 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
    • 3/4 teaspoon salt
    • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda


    Instructions


    1. preheat oven to 375
    2. In large bowl, combine peanut butter, vegetable shortening, brown sugar, milk and vanilla; beat at meduim speed of electric mixer until well blended.
    3. Add egg: beat just until blended.
    4. Combine flour, salt and baking soda, add to creamed mixture and beat at low speed umntil just blended.
    5. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 inches aprart onto ungreased cookied sheet.
    6. With tines of fork flatten slightly in crisscross pattern.
    7. Bake at 375 for 7 to 8 minutes or umtil set and just begining to brown.
    8. place sheet of foil on countertop.
    9. Slide cookies onto foil and all to cool completely.
