CHEESECAKE BROWNIES

List of Ingredients
- Brownie mixture*
- 4 oz unsweetened chocolate
- 2/3 cup shortening
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- CHEESECAKE MIXTURE*
- 1 8oz package cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Instructions
- Brownie mixture directions: Heat oven to 350
- Melt chocolate and shortening in large saucepan over low heat, or in microwave in a large microwave safe bowl.
- Remove from heat and mix in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Stir in flour and salt.
- Spread into a greased 13x9 baking pan.
- CHEESECAKE MIXTURE
- BEAT CREAM CHEESE WITH MIXER ON MEDUIM SPEED UNTIL SMOOTH.
- ADD SUGAR, MIXING TILL BLENEDED,
- ADD EGG AND VANILLA.
- MIX JUST TILL BLENDED
- pOUR CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE OVER BROWNIE MIXTURE, CUT THROUGH SEVERAL TIMES FOR MARBLE EFFECT.
- BAKE AT 350 FOR 30 TO 35 MINUTES OR UNTIL CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE IS LIGHTLY BROWNED.
- COOL....CUT INTO SQUARES.
Final Comments
You can use a store bought brownie mix, prepare according to directions, spread inot pan and continue with the cheesecake mixture.
