    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/4 cups yellow cornmeal
    • 1 cup flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup sour cream
    • 1 cup cream style corn
    • 1/4 cup chopped jalapeno peppers
    • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
    • 2 eggs slightly beaten
    • 2 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper
    • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 350
    2. Combine cornmeal,flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl.
    3. Stir in all remaining ingredients except cheese just until moistened.
    4. pour half of batter into greased 8 inch baking pan.
    5. Sprinkle 1/2 cup cheese over batter. Spoon remaining batter over cheese' spread to cover.
    6. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until light golden brown. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. continue baking for 4 to 6 minutes or until cheese is melted.
    7. Serve immediately.
