    COL. SANDERS STYLE CHICKEN

    List of Ingredients


    • 3 pounds of fryer parts (cut small)
    • 2 packages of Italian sald dressing mix (Good Seasons)
    • 3 tablespoons of flour
    • 1/4 cup lemon juice
    • 2 tablespoons salt
    • 2 tablespoons butter (soft)
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1 1/2 cups pancake mix combined with
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • 1/2 teaspoon sage
    • 1/4 teaspoon pepper


    Instructions


    1. Wipe chicken dry.

    2. Make paste with first 5 ingredients

    3. brush to coat chicken evenly.

    4. Stack pieces in bowl.

    5. cover & refrigerate several hours.

    6. 1 1/2 hours before serving heat 1/2 inch oil in 2 large skillets so chicken won't be crowed.

    7. Dip pieces in milk, then in pankcake mix and coat well.

    8. Dust off excess mix

    9. Lightly brown about 4 minutes on each side

    10. Place in single layer in shallow pans

    11. Spoon in remaining milk over pieces.

    12. Seal with foil.

    13. Bake for 1 hour at 350

    14. Uncover bake 10 minutes at 400 to crips chicken baste with milk again.

    15. Serves 8
