    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
    • 3/4 cup oats (uncooked)
    • 1/4 cup chopped onion
    • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
    • 2 teaspoons salt
    • 1 cup tomato juice
    • 1 cup puree


    Instructions


    1. shape combined ingredients inot 16 meat balls
    2. roll lightly in flour and brown in small amount of hot oil
    3. Add 1 cup tomato puree
    4. season with salt and pepper
    5. simmer 20 to 25 minutes
