List of Ingredients



• 1 cup sifted flour
  
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
  
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  
• 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  
• 1/2 cup shortening
  
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
  
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  
• 1 egg
  
• 2 tablespoon milk
  
• 1 cup raisens
  
• 2 cups old fashioned uncooked oats
  






Instructions



1. sift together flour, soda, salt and spices into bowl
   
2. add shortening, sugars egg and milk.
   
3. beat until smooth about 2 minutes
   
4. fold in rasins and oats
   
5. drop by teaspoon on a greased cookie sheet
   
6. bake at 375 for 12 to 15 minutes
   
7. makes about 3 1/2 dozens
