    MOTHER-IN-LAW
    Dissolve 2 packages of raspbery gelatin in 1/2 cup boiling water. Let stand for 15 minutes. Make syrup of 1 1/2 cups sugar and 1/3 cup water and heat to 238 on candy thermometer. Add syrup to gelatin. Mix in 1/2 cup raisins and 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Pour into an 8 inch square which has been rinsed with cold water. Cut into 1-inch squares and roll in powdered or granulated sugar. Place in candy frill to serve.
