SWISS CHEESE AND BACON PIE

List of Ingredients
- 1 9-inch pie shell, chilled
- 1 tablespoon softened butter
- 12 slices of bacon
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups cream
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 pound swiss cheese grated
Instructions
- spread butter on bottom of pie shell
- cook bacon and crumble up 6 slices
- make bacon curl from other 6 slices
- combine eggs, cream, seasoning, mix thoroughly.
- Sprinkle crumbled bacon and grated cheese into pie shell
- pour in cream mixture.
- Bake 425 for 15 minutes
- lower heat to 300 for 35 minutes, test with knife
- serve at once with bacon curls
