    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup butter
    • 1 cup brown sugar firmly packed
    • 1 egg yolk
    • 2 cups sifted flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1 (6oz) plain milk chocolate bar broken into pieces
    • 1 cup pecans chopped


    Instructions


    1. Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy
    2. Add egg yolk and vanilla, mix well
    3. Sift dry ingredients and add to sugar mixture.
    4. Spread in 15x10 inch jelly-roll pan
    5. bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes
    6. remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with broken chocolate pieces
    7. as chocolate melts spread over entire pan.
    8. Sprinkle with nuts
    9. cool and cut into bars
