    CHEESY SAUSAGE PENNE

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pound bulk Italian sausage
    • 1 garlic clove, minced
    • 1 jar (26 oz) spaghetti sauce
    • 1 package (1 pound) penne or meduim tube pasta
    • 1 package (8oz) cream cheese softened
    • 1 cup (8oz) sour cream
    • 4 green onions sliced
    • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese


    Instructions


    1. In a large skillet, cook the sauage and garlic over meduim heat until meant is no longer pink; drain
    2. Stir in spaghetti sauce; bring to boil, reduce heat and cover, simmer for 20 minutes.
    3. Meanwhile , cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
    4. In small mixing bowl combine the cream cheese and sour cream and onions.
    5. In a greased shallow 3 quart baking dish, layer half of the pasta and sausage mixutre.
    6. Dollop with halp of the cream cheese mixture; sprinkle half of the cheese and repeat layers.
    7. Bake, uncovered at 350 for 30- 35 minutes or until bubbly.
    8. YIELD: 12 SERVINGS
