    1 cup brown sugar
    butter size of an egg
    2 tablespoons flour
    2 egg yolks
    2 cups milk
    1 cup water

    1 baked pie shell.

    Recipe



    Cream butter and sugar, place on stove in a frying pan and stir until dissolved.
    Add flour stirring until smooth, add milk, yolks of egg and water.
    Stir, cook until thick.
    Pour filling in rich cooked pie shell and top with meringue. Brown meringue at 350ºF for 10 to 12 minutes, until golden brown.
