    Brown Sugar Cookies

    1/2 cup butter
    1 cup brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 to 2-1/2 cups flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    a few each of raisins, nuts and cherries.

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 325ºF.

    Cream butter and sugar, add eggs. Then sift in flour and baking powder, stir. Fold in vanilla and fruit.

    Drop by teaspoon unto cookie sheet.

    Bake in preheated oven until browned.
