Breaded Pork Chops & Apple Rings

8 regular thin pork chops (I use boneless pork slices)
Seasoned flour (flour with salt, pepper, garlic powder)
1 egg
2 tablespoons water
fine bread crumbs
fat for frying (can be for deep frying if desired)
2 large unpeeled apples
2 tablespoons margarine or butterRecipe
Dredge meat in flour mixture. Dip in egg beaten with the water. Roll in crumbs.
Fry in hot fat on both sides until golden brown OR drop in deep hot fat and deep fry until golden brown.
Core apples, cut into 1/2-inch thick slices. Melt margarine in medium-hot fry pan.
Cook apple slices in this pan until lightly browned and tender. Arrange chops and apples on a hot platter.
Serve with desired side dish, potatoes, noodles or rice.
Serves 4 to 8 depending on the people.
