    This is a very moist dark chocolate cake. Stays moist a long time.

    List of Ingredients




    2 cups flour
    2 cups sugar
    2 teaspoons baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/3 cup cocoa
    1 cup buttermilk
    1 cup vegetable oil
    1 cup boiling water'
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 eggs
    miniature marshmallows

    1 cup sugar
    2 tablespoons light corn syrup
    1/4 cup milk
    2 tablespoons butter
    3 oz of chocolate chips
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

    Mix together flour,sugar, soda, salt and cocoa. Add buttermilk, oil, boiling water, vanilla and eggs. Beat thoroughly and pour into a greased and floured 13x9 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 35 to 45 minutes, testing with a toothpick or cake tester to determine doneness.

    Start icing 5 minutes before cake is done. Combine sugar, corn syrup, milk and butter in a saucepan and boil 2 minutes (no longer), then add chocolate chips, vanilla, and nuts. Mix until chocolate chips are melted.

    Place miniature marshmallows all over the top of the cake as soon as it is removed from oven. Drizzle hot icing over the marshmallows. Let cool. Yummy!
