Raisin Cream Pie
List of Ingredients
- 1 cup raisins`
- 1 cup water
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup rich milk
- 1 baked pie shell
Instructions
- Boil raisins in water 5 minutes
- While raisins are boiling beat egg yolks
- Mix with sugar, cornstarch, salt and milk(add milk gradually so mixture will be smooth)
- Stir into the raisin mixture and cook until thickened.
- Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
- Pour into baked pie shell. and cover with meringue or whipped cream
