Sukiyaki
List of Ingredients
- 1 pound lean steak
- 2 tablespoon salad oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 10 oz. frozen caulifower flowerettes
- 1/4 cup green pepper
- 2 tablespoon corn starch
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 can (4 oz) small mushrooms
- 4 medium scallions (cut diagonal)
Instructions
- Cut lean steak in 1/2 inch cubes
- Brown in oil,turning to brown evenly.
- Add garlic powder, ginger,soy sauce.
- Stir to coat meat
- Add caulifower and green pepper
- Cover and cook for 4 minutes over low heat,until vegetables are barely tender
- In small bowl blend corn starch,sugar and beef broth
- Add to meat mixture with mushrooms
- Add scallions.
- Raise heat and cook until sauce thickens.
- Serve over fluffy rice.
