    Cherry Cheesecake Bars

    • 1 (17.5 oz.) pkg. sugar cookie mix, prepared as directed on package
    • 1 ( 8oz.) pkg cream cheese, softened
    • 1 1/2 cups milk
    • 2 tblsp. sugar
    • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    • 1 small box lemon flavored instant pudding mix
    • 1 ( 20 oz.) can cherry pie filling


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 375°. Press cookie dough evenly into bottom of a greased 9x13 baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes, until center is set and edges are browned. Remove from the oven and let cool. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, milk, sugar and vanilla until mixture is smooth. Add pudding mix and beat on low speed about a minute, until mixture begins to thicken. Spread mixture over cooled crust and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Just before serving, spoon cherry pie filling over the top. Keep refrigerated.
