Southern Pecan Pie
List of Ingredients
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon melted butter or margarine
2 cup broken pecan
1 unbaked 9 inch pastry shell
Recipe
Beat eggs slightly; add sugar and beat well. Add syrup, flavoring, salt and melted butter or margarine. Spread pecans over bottom of pastry shell and pour egg mixture over them then place some pecans on top of the mixture. Bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees, for 45 minutes or until done. Makes One 9-inch pie.
