    Wiener Schnitzel

    In all my years, assigned with the U.S. Army, in Germany this is one meal I never got tired of. It did not matter if I were assigned to Bad Aibling, Bamberg, Neu Ulm, Munich or Augsburg this dish was always served!

    List of Ingredients




    4 Veal Steaks ( boneless)
    Salt & Pepper
    Flour
    1 Egg beaten with one tablespoon of water
    1 1/2 Cup bread crumbs
    3 to 4 Tbsp of oil
    Lemon Wedges

    Recipe



    Get your malot or you can use the bottom of a coffee cup. This is what I had done for quite awhile until I could remember to go and purchase a malot.

    Beat the steaks until they are thin and sprinkle them with salt and pepper.

    ok, so here is where it gets a little different, dip them into the flour first, then into the egg and finally the bread crumbs.

    Fry each piece in oil until brown on both sides.

    Garnish with lemon wedges. This makes 4 servings.

    Note: If your ndon't like the ideal of lemon omit it. You do not know what you are missing though.
