    List of Ingredients




    2 cups of dry macaroni (cooked for 5 minutes and drained)
    2 cups shredded American or cheddar cheese (set aside 1/4-cup)
    2 tablespoons margarine or butter2-1/2 cups milk
    1/4-teaspoon pepper
    1/2-teaspoon dry mustard (optional)
    1 teaspoon salt (optional)
    2 tablespoons cornstarch

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In medium saucepan, combine cornstarch, salt, dry mustard and pepper. Stir in milk. Add butter or margarine. Bring to boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, boil one minute. Remove from heat. Stir in 1-3/4 cups of the cheese until melted. Add cooked macaroni noodles. Pour into greased 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/4-cup of cheese. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes or until top is lightly browned.
