    Amish Bean Soup

    List of Ingredients




    1 lb. Soup Beans
    1 Ham bone
    1/2 cup Chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. Seasoning salt
    1/2 tsp. Celery salt
    Dash of garlic salt
    Salt and pepper

    Recipe



    Soak beans in water overnight. Drain, add fresh water and cook slowly with the ham bone for 2 hours. Add onion, celery salt, seasoning salt and garlic salt, salt and pepper. Remove ham b one, trim off any meat and return to pot. Add ham bits and simmer for 1 hour.
