    -preheat oven to 325 degrees

    List of Ingredients




    -1 box of chocolate cake mix (I like Duncan Hines Devils Food)
    (add 4 Tbls of extra cake mix if using 13.25 oz. cake mix)
    -Substitute 1 cup room temp coffee instead of 1 cup water
    -Substitute 1 cup of melted butter instead of 1/2 cup oil
    -Add 1 extra egg (4 if using Duncan Hines Devils Food)
    -Add 1 small box of instant chocolate pudding mix
    -Add 1/4 cup Hershey's chocolate syrup
    -Mix until just combined
    -Last mix in 1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips

    Recipe



    -fill greased cake/muffin pans of choice 1/2 - 2/3 full
    -bake until toothpick comes out clean (cupcakes will bake about 15 minutes, cake layers will bake around 25-30 minutes depending on the size)
    -cover and freeze cakes when still warm

    Store-bought Chocolate Frosting Hack
    -Add 2-containers of Duncan Hines, milk chocolate frosting to a mixing bowl
    -Add 2 Tbls room temperature coffee
    -Add 3/4 cup of powdered sugar
    -Add 1 tsp of vanilla extract
    -if it's too sweet, add a pinch of salt
    -cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before frosting
