List of Ingredients




For Cake Base or a Really Good Brownie Mix
2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
4 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup cocoa
3 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts
1 pkg miniature marshmallows
1/2 tsp salt

For The Frosting
2 sticks butter
1/2 cup cocoa
1 box powdered sugar
1/2 cup evaporated mild
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts


Recipe



For Cake Base

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs.
Sift flour, cocoa, and salt together. Add to the mix
Add vanilla and nuts.
Pour into greased and floured 13X9 pan.
Bake at 3 degrees for 35 minutes.
Take out of over, spread marshmallows evenly over top.
Return to over for 5 minutes.
Take out and cool, Spread with frosting below.

For Frosting
Melt 2 sticks of butter.
Mix 1/2 cup cocoa and melted butter in large bowl.
Add 1 box of powdered sugar, 1/2 cup evaporated milk, 1 tsp vanilla and the 1 cup chopped nuts and mix well.
Spread over cooled cake.
