    List of Ingredients


    • 8 SLICES WHITE BREAD
    • BUTTER OR MARGARINE
    • 1/2 POUND GROUND BEEF
    • 1/4 CUP CHOPPED ONION
    • 2 TABLESPOONS CELERY, CHOPPED
    • 1TABLESPOON PREPARED MUSTARD
    • 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
    • 1 CUP SHARP AMERICAN CHEESE OR CHEDDER,SHREDDED
    • ABOUT 4 OUNCES OF ABOVE CHEESE
    • 1 EGG, SLIGHTLY BEATEN
    • 3/4 CUP MILK
    • 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
    • DASH OF PEPPER
    • 1/8 TEASPOON DRY MUSTARD


    Instructions


    1. PRE-HEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES
    2. TOAST BREAD;BUTTER BOTH SIDES.
    3. COOK AND STIR MEAT, ONION, CLEERY PREPARED MUSTARD AND 1/2 TEASPOONS SALT UNTIL MEAT IS BROWN AND ONION TENDER
    4. ALTERNATE LAYERS OF TOAST, MEAT MIXTURE AND CHEESE IN GREASED BAKING PAN, 9X9".
    5. MIX REMAINING INGREDIENTS; POUR OVER LAYERS IN PAN.
    6. BAKE UNCOVERED FOR 30 TO 35 MINUTES.
