List of Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. salad oil
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 lb. flank steak, cut lightly in a crisscross pattern
Instructions
- Melt butter in a skillet
- Cook and stir onions and 1/4 tsp salt until onions are soft
- Keep warm over low heat
- Stir together salid oil, lemon juice, garlic, 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
- Brush on top of meat
- Set oven at broil or 550 degrees
- Broil meat 3" from heat about 8 minutes or until brown, turn meat brush with oil mixture and broil about another 5-8 minutes
- Cut meat across the grain at a slanted angle into very thin slices and serve with reserved onions
