Tuna Burgers
List of Ingredients
- 2 (7 oz.) cans tuna in water
- 4 green onions (shallots), thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 4 Kaiser buns (hamburger buns work)
- Lettuce leafs
- 1 large tomatoe, thinly sliced
- 1 tbs. oil
- 4 tbs. light creamy Caesar dressing or mayonnaise
Instructions
- Drain tuna and use a fork to break into flakes
- Add onions, bread crumbs, cheese, salt and pepper
- Toss until blended
- Whisk eggs and pour into tuna mix, let stand for 10 minutes
- Slice Kaiser buns and toast, lay a leaf of leettuce on each bottom, then top with a slice of tomatoe
- Form tuna into patties
- Fry patties until golden brown on medium high heat
- Place patties on buns, add a drop of Ceasar dressing or mayonnaise
- Serve hot
