    Tuna Burgers


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 (7 oz.) cans tuna in water
    • 4 green onions (shallots), thinly sliced
    • 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
    • 1/2 cup grated cheese
    • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 2 eggs
    • 4 Kaiser buns (hamburger buns work)
    • Lettuce leafs
    • 1 large tomatoe, thinly sliced
    • 1 tbs. oil
    • 4 tbs. light creamy Caesar dressing or mayonnaise


    Instructions


    1. Drain tuna and use a fork to break into flakes
    2. Add onions, bread crumbs, cheese, salt and pepper
    3. Toss until blended
    4. Whisk eggs and pour into tuna mix, let stand for 10 minutes
    5. Slice Kaiser buns and toast, lay a leaf of leettuce on each bottom, then top with a slice of tomatoe
    6. Form tuna into patties
    7. Fry patties until golden brown on medium high heat
    8. Place patties on buns, add a drop of Ceasar dressing or mayonnaise
    9. Serve hot
