    Healthy Chicken Stir Fry

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. chicken breats
    • 2 tbs. oil
    • 8 cups thinly sliced vegetable such as green bell peppers, onions, carrots, celery, cauliflower, broccoli and green beans
    • SAUCE:
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1/4 cup soya sauce
    • 1 tbs. corn starch
    • 1 tbs. brown sugar
    • 3/4 tsp. chopped ginger
    • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder or 1/2 tsp minced garlic
    • 1/4 tsp. pepper


    Instructions


    1. Stir sauce ingredients and let stand for at least 15 minutes

    2. Slice chicken into 1/4 inch strips

    3. Cut into bit sizes

    4. Stir fry chicken over medium-high heat till nearly golden brown

    5. Add vegetables and stir to mix well

    6. Stir sauce and add to stir fry

    7. Cook for about 5-8 minutes



    Final Comments


    Serve over steamed rice
