Brunswick Stew
List of Ingredients
- 3 1/2 lb.chicken, cut up
- 3 cups water
- 1 cup tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup corn, (frozen best)
- 1 cup lima beans
- 1 cup okra, cut
- 1 medium potatoe, diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1/2 cup celery, diced
- 1 tsp. garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 Worchestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Add chicken to water and bring to a boil
- Reduce heat and simmer until fully cooked
- Remove chicken from broth and allow to cool
- Skin and dice the chicken
- Return the chicken and all ingredients to the pot and simmer until all ingredients are soft, about 1 1/2 hours
