Pork Ragout
List of Ingredients
- 1 lb. pork loin cut into cubes (pork stewing beef)
- 2 small onions, cut into wedges
- 2 cloves of garlic, pressed
- 1 tsp. dried Rosemary, crumbled
- 4 tbs. margarine
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1 cup of boiling water
- 4 cups of cauliflower florettes
- 2 cups carrots, sliced
- 2 cups hot cooked rice
Instructions
- In a large skillet saute ork, onion, garlic and Rosemary in margarine over medium-high heat until pork is browned, turn once
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste
- Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water, stir into pork mixture
- Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 25 minutes
- Add cauliflower and carrots, cover and simmer for 15 more minutes or untilvegetables are tender
Final Comments
Serve over rice
