Bryan's Onion Rings

List of Ingredients
- 2 big spanish onions
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 egg beaten
- 3/4 cup beer (room temperature)
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Peel onions and cut into 1/2" strips
Seperate and set aside
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, paprika, Cayenne pepper, dry mustard and beaten egg
- Wisk in beer and mix well
- In a deep skillet add about 2" oil untilsmall bubbles begin to break the surface (test witha wooden spook, if bubbles appear it is ready).
- Dip onions into flour mixture and fry in small batches until golden brown ( about 3 minutes).
- Drain on paper towel and serve.
- Freezes very well
