    Recipe Introduction

    Works every time. The secret is not to overwork the dough after adding the liquid. This recipe makes excellent cinnamon buns.

    List of Ingredients

    1 lb 4 oz AP flour
    1/2 tbsp salt
    1 oz sugar
    1/6 cup baking powder

    1/2 lb shortening

    1 1/2 cups milk

    Recipe

    Combine the first 4 ingredients in a bowl and blend on speed 1 for 10 seconds

    Cut in the shortening using paddle attachment until mixture resembles coarse corn meal ( 1 min)

    Add the milk to dry ingredients just until ingredients are combined

    Divide dough in ½ knead dough lightly on floured board by pressing out and folding in half 15-20 times roll to ½ inch thickness
    Use a 2 inch bisquit cutter
    Place on bake sheet ½ inch apart
