    VEGETABLE STREUDEL

    Not just for vegetarians.

    List of Ingredients

    3 sheets of filo pastry
    about 2-3 oz melted butter or margarine
    1/2 cup julienne of carrots, turnip, onion, mushrooms and green pepper
    1 tsp garlic
    1/4 tsp kosher salt
    1 tsp curry powder ( optional)

    Recipe

    Place a sheet of filo pastry on the cuttingboard and butter with a pastry brush. repeat stacking each one on top of the other. Sautee the vegetables and place in the center of the sheets. Wrap up like a parcel, buttering each fold. Make light incisions in the pastry where you would like to make your cuts when it is baked. Bake at 400 degrees farenheit until golden brown about 15-20 minutes
